"Under normal circumstances, it would be considered an erratic mix of hard-techno, breakbeat and Belgian new beat sounds but the duo have textured Action Mix with samples lifted directly from video games.

The entire mix is interspersed with combat barks and menu narration from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 but not in a way that is sensical or appropriate. It’s actually incredibly funny to suddenly hear things like “Tactical Thermonuclear War” sternly dictated by a gruff army man on top of a Robert Armani track. Plus, things like the Metal Gear Solid alert sound and this game over jingle from Bomberman Hero get listed in the tracklist despite only playing for a few seconds each."
